Daligo Privacy Policy.

Developer and scope

This policy explains how Dalifin LLC accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Daligo. For privacy questions or data requests, contact gli@dalifin.com.

Information Daligo accesses

• Account information such as email address, profile, sign-in state, trip membership, and subscription entitlement.
• Approximate and precise location, including background location during an active trip or recording, plus coordinates, altitude, accuracy, timestamps, speed, and route points.
• Physical-activity information used to improve trail recording and distinguish movement from GPS drift.
• Trip plans, meeting places, routes, invitations, membership, check-ins, messages, tracks, photos, captions, and shared recap content that users create or select.
• Nearby-device, Bluetooth, and local Wi-Fi connection information needed when users choose offline device-to-device sharing.
• App, device, network, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

Location and trip coordination

Daligo uses location to record routes, calculate distance, show a member's position on the group map, attach current location to a check-in or message, and support navigation and trip coordination. During an active trip or recording, these functions may continue while the app is in the background.

When Internet access is available and a user enables trip coordination, current location and related timestamps are sent to Dalifin servers and shared with members of that trip. Users can stop live updates by ending the trip session or disabling the feature or location permission.

Sharing, nearby transfer, and public recaps

• Trip invitations and server sync send the information needed to create, join, and coordinate a group trip.
• When users choose nearby sharing, selected tracks, messages, or photos can be transferred directly between participating devices over Bluetooth or a local Wi-Fi connection. Local Wi-Fi transfer does not require Internet access.
• Users choose which photos, tracks, and other contributions to share. Content uploaded for a trip is available to its members according to the trip's access controls.
• A trip organizer or contributor may choose to publish approved content in a public recap. Daligo presents a review step before selected content is submitted for publication.
• Google Play or Apple processes subscriptions. Dalifin may receive store-verification data and entitlement status but does not receive payment-card details.

Retention, deletion, and user controls

Local records remain until the user deletes them, clears app data, or uninstalls the app. Server-backed trip, account, contribution, and security records are retained as needed to provide the service, honor group sharing choices, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and resolve support issues.

Users can remove local content, leave trips where permitted, and request deletion of their account and associated server data by contacting Dalifin. Some limited transaction, security, or legal records may be retained where required.

Users can revoke location, physical-activity, nearby-device, Bluetooth, local-network, camera, photo, and notification permissions in device settings, although the related features will stop working.

Safety

Daligo is not an emergency, rescue, or safety-monitoring service. Internet, Bluetooth, local Wi-Fi, GPS, battery, terrain, and device conditions can delay or prevent updates and transfers. Users should carry an appropriate independent navigation and emergency plan.

Security

Dalifin uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information handled by Daligo, including private application storage, secure operating-system storage where appropriate, HTTPS for network requests, and access controls for Dalifin services. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Children

Daligo is not directed to children under 13, and Dalifin does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this app. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Changes and contact

Dalifin may update this policy when Daligo changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. For questions, access requests, or deletion requests, email gli@dalifin.com.
